types of support

emotional + physical support:

your partner in parenthood.

emotional

as your doula, it is my goal to simply serve as a trusted companion. the in between phase of postpartum and the hormonal shifts that take place can be emotionally overwhelming and exhausting. it is important to me to make a safe, judgment free space for my clients to process the range of emotions that come up.

physical

it goes without saying that birth is a physical act whether you deliver vaginally or via c-section. i am here to educate about the possible physical changes and what to do if you encounter them.

nutritional + household

bringing calm to the chaos.

nutrition

nutrition is part of my love language. the need for deeply nourishing and comforting meals is especially important in the early days and weeks to help the body heal. i am happy to organize meals, snacks, and assist with light meal prep to lighten the load for the families i support.

household

as a birthing person, the most important thing for you to be doing is taking care of your own needs and bonding with your new baby. helping with light household chores is a part of my role that i proudly assist with after all other needs of the family have been met.

sleep + feeding guidance

so the nights don’t have to be sleepless after all.

sleep

infant sleep is incredibly nuanced. as someone who has steeped themselves in the neuroscience behind infant sleep, i am confident that i will be able to help or offer resources to parents to allow them to find gentle solutions to what people describe as “sleepless” nights.

feeding

lactation and feeding support is required coursework to become a certified doula. i am here to help families learn to feed in a way that works for you.
